Registration of electronic communications entities in the list of essential and important entities
15 May 2026
Registration of electronic communications entities in the list of essential and important entities has begun.
On 3 April 2026, an amendment to the Act on the National Cybersecurity System (hereinafter UKSC)—a strategic regulation from the perspective of the state, key economic sectors, and citizens — entered into force.
Pursuant to the Announcement of the Minister of Digital Affairs of 8 April 2026, regarding the schedule for submitting applications for entry into the list of essential and important entities and the commencement of use of the ICT system by essential or important entities, the Minister of Digital Affairs has ex officio entered entities identified to date, including entities that previously held the status of operators of essential services.
Telecommunications undertakings which have been entered ex officio by the Minister of Digital Affairs into the list of essential and important entities will receive, via the PUE, a notification of their entry into the list and a request to supplement the data referred to in Article 7(2) of the UKSC. Entities are required to provide the missing data within 6 months of the date of delivery of the request.
Entities that have not been entered into the list ex officio may register on their own. This obligation applies in particular to electronic communications entities that are not telecommunications undertakings.
Starting from 7 May 2026, self-registration will be available at: https://wykaz-ksc.gov.pl
