Paweł Krzymiński appointed as Director of Department of Radio Spectrum at UKE

Starting from 1 September, the Department of Radio Spectrum at UKE will be headed by Paweł Krzymiński.
Paweł Krzymiński is a graduate of the Military University of Technology where he studied radio reconnaissance and countermeasures at the Faculty of Electronics. He also completed post-graduate studies at the Graduate School of International Trade and Finance – International School of Managers. In addition, Paweł completed frequency management courses of all levels at the NATO Communications and Information Systems Schools in Latina, Italy.
His career started in 1989 in the 2. Radio-electronic Reconnaissance Regiment in Przasnysz. Later he worked among others as a specialist of the Radiocommunication Systems Division in the Communications and IT Directorate of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces. He co-organized military frequency management services and the Military Spectrum Management Bureau (WBZC), where he held the position of head of the Frequency Policy and Planning Unit. After leaving WBZC he was appointed as head of the Radio Systems Division in Department of IT and Telecommunications of the Ministry of National Defence, and after returning to the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces he was in charge of the C4ISR Systems Planning Division in the Command Systems Planning and Communications Directorate of (P6).
From 2015, he was a coordinator of cyber military operations in the Command and Control Directorate P6 of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces. He left the service in the Ministry of National Defence in the rank of a colonel.
He started work for UKE on 1 February 2018 as Deputy Director of the Department of Frequency Resources Management.
As Director of the Department of Radio Spectrum Paweł Krzymiński will be responsible for frequency management, planning and international coordination related to spectrum and orbital resources.
