1. The use of personal data

Personal data provided by users via electronic forms available on the UKE website are processed in a manner consistent with the provisions of generally applicable law, in particular in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation - “GDPR”). Personal data collected from users are subject to adequate protection, in accordance with the said regulations. Only authorized employees of the Office have full access to databases, in line with the personal data protection policy of the Office of Electronic Communications.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that the controller of the personal data provided to the Office via the electronic forms is the President of the Office of Electronic Communications based in Warsaw, Giełdowa 7/9, 01-211 Warsaw.
Personal data is processed in order to perform the statutory tasks of the President of UKE to the substantive extent covered by the form. The provision of personal data as required by the regulations of generally applicable law is mandatory, the provision of other data is voluntary. 2. The cookie mechanisms on UKE website

In connection with the provision of Internet services, the Office uses the so called cookies, i.e. computer data, in particular text files stored by the servers on the user’s terminal equipment that the servers can read every time there is a connection from this terminal equipment.

The uke.gov.pl website uses performance cookies in order to collect information on how the website is used, to improve its operation and functional cookies in order to “memorize” the user settings (e.g. language, font size). The software used for browsing the web (browser), by default, allows to store cookies on the user's terminal equipment. Website users may change the cookie settings at any time. In particular, these settings can be modified in such a way as to block the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings or to inform the user every time they are stored in the equipment of the website user.

If the cookie settings are not changed, it means that they will be stored in the user's terminal equipment, thus we will store the information in the user's terminal equipment and have access to this information.

  • create statistics which, for example, support search engine optimization, thus making it easier to obtain the necessary information,
  • change the website's presentation or version (e.g. version for the visually impaired),
  • store the session data (expires at the end of the session).
