The postal services market reached PLN 18.69 billion in 2024, an increase in absolute terms of 13.0% year-on-year. This was accompanied by an increase in the overall volume of realized services, which amounted to 2.15 billion pieces, up 5.4% year-on-year.

In 2024, despite maintaining its leading position in terms of service volume, Poczta Polska lost its status as the leading postal operator in terms of postal revenues.
The most volume-intensive postal service in 2024 was courier mail, which exceeded 1.2 billion items. In second place in terms of volume was letter mail at 0.79 billion items. Letter mail volume decreased by 5.6% in 2024 compared to the previous year, but revenue from this segment increased by 5.8%, which can be partly explained by the increase in prices for letter mail as part of universal service.
The most important factor in the growth of the postal market in 2024 was the increase in revenue and volume from courier shipments. Courier shipments accounted for 73.3% of the value of the postal market and 56.5% of the total volume of postal services in 2024. This segment has steadily increased its share for several years, mainly due to the growth of e-commerce.
In 2024, the number of self-service parcel machines increased by 13,443 devices, up 35.1% year-on-year.
