Number portability reports in the fourth quarter of 2020

In the fourth quarter of 2020, over 370,000 numbers were transferred in mobile networks, and almost 160,000 in fixed-line networks - according to the latest number portability reports made available by the President of UKE.
The reports present the statistics of porting numbers using the Localization and Information Platform with the Central Database (PLI CBD) managed by the President of UKE.
In the fourth quarter of 2020, a total of 377,133 numbers were transferred in mobile networks. This is almost the same as in the third quarter, when 377,565 numbers were transferred, but over 30,000 fewer numbers than in the same period of 2019, when the number was 410,579.
Among the largest mobile operators in the last quarter, the balance sheet of two of them was positive, and two negative in net terms. As a result of porting numbers, Orange Polska gained over 14,000 new SIM card users, and Polkomtel (the operator of the Plus network) - over 7,000. Loss was recorded by P4 (the operator of the Play network) with over 55,000 fewer numbers and T-Mobile, which lost over 5,000 numbers.
In fixed-line networks, in the fourth quarter of 2020, a total of 158,006 numbers were transferred, over 100,000 more than in the third quarter of 2020, when this number was 75,554 and over 46,000 more than in the same period of 2019, when the number of ported numbers amounted to 111,616.
