Meeting with representatives of the GSMA

President UKE Przemysław Kuna, Deputy President Karol Krzywicki and representatives of UKE’s departments met at the Office’s with Mr Laszlo Toth, GSMA Director for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States, and Ms Petra Fako, GSMA Director of Public Policy.

The main topic of the meeting was an exchange of views on the European Commission’s – the Digital Networks Act (DNA), containing proposals for changes to the EU electronic communications market, including issues relating to spectrum (spectrum allocation, conditions for granting reservation rights and the duration of reservation authorisations), general authorisation, a single passport and regulatory simplification.

During the meeting, there was also discussion on the draft regulation – the Cybersecurity Act 2 (CSA 2), which proposes significant changes to the existing cybersecurity framework.
