Meeting of the President of UKE Przemysław Kuna with the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)

On the first day of the Mobile World Congress (MWC GSMA), held on March 2-5, 2026, in Barcelona, UKE President Przemysław Kuna met with Brendan Carr, Chairman of the US Federal Communications Commission. During the conversation, the desire to strengthen cooperation, which is already assessed as good, was emphasized. Security issues were also discussed, and information was exchanged on current regulatory challenges and points of interest in the GSMA MWC program, in which both heads of regulators participated. The President of UKE also mentioned new competencies resulting from the Digital Services Act (DSA), as well as the law on the National Cybersecurity System signed by the President of the Republic of Poland last week. Both parties expressed a willingness to maintain further contact in order to exchange experiences on an ongoing basis.
