Iwona Różyk-Rozbicka in charge of the Legal Department

Starting from 1 June, Iwona Różyk-Rozbicka will head the Legal Department after performing the function of deputy director in the same department.
Iwona Różyk-Rozbicka is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and Faculty of International Relations at the Warsaw School of Economics. She also studied at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Business and Economics - Åbo Akademi in Finland and completed a post-graduate course on Antitrust and Regulation in Infrastructure Sectors. In addition, her MA thesis won the Minister of Science and Higher Education award for the best MA dissertation on the subject of industrial property law.
In the course of her career Iwona worked for a number of law firms, such as GWW, Dentons, Łabudzka Legal and SMM Legal. As a legal advisor she was involved in projects of crucial importance for the telecommunications market related to: the 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 800/2600 MHz bands, the Reference Offer for Infrastructure (ROI), the Mobile Termination Rate (MTR), national roaming and MNO/MVNO interconnection.
Iwona joined UKE on 1 January 2017 as deputy director of the Legal Department. She was in charge of strategic legal projects, including international litigation.
The main tasks of the new director will include compliance as well as litigation monitoring at the level of administrative courts, common courts and the Supreme Court. Iwona will continue to report directly to UKE President Marcin Cichy.
