ITU and UKE workshop on mapping broadband infrastructure

On 2-3 July, an “ITU Workshop for Europe on Mapping of Terrestrial Broadband Infrastructure and Services”, organized by the International Telecommunication Union in cooperation with UKE, takes place at the headquarters of the Office of Electronic Communications.

The workshop is addressed to the countries of the Western Balkans and the Eastern Partnership, as well as representatives of the European Commission, the World Bank, the European Investment Bank and the World Wide Web Foundation.

The event is held as part of the Regional Initiative for Europe, approved by the ITU World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC) in 2017. Among the speakers, there are also UKE experts who will present the Office’s experience in mapping broadband infrastructure.

The organization of the workshop together with ITU is an element of the strategy of the President of UKE to strengthen UKE’s activity at the international level.
