Dorota Grudzień-Barbachowska is the Director of UKE’s Department of Consumer Policy

On August 1, Dorota Grudzień-Barbachowska becomes the Director of the Department of Consumer Policy.
Dorota Grudzień-Barbachowska is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the Academy of Catholic Theology, Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and post-graduate Study of European Financial, Economic and Legal Relations at the Warsaw School of Economics. She completed legal counsel's apprenticeship at the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Warsaw.
She started her professional career in the “Jacek Reps - Piotr Wojnar” Law Firm, and then in the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK), where she was successively chief specialist in the Competition Protection Unit, Deputy Director of the Department of Legal Affairs, Director of the UOKiK Branch Office in Warsaw and Director of the Department of Legal Affairs.
In the years 2005-2007 Dorota worked for UKE as chief specialist in the Legal Department, where she was responsible for preparing legal opinions and administrative acts, drafting decisions of the President of UKE and training the Office's employees in the application of legal provisions regulating UKE’s activities.
The main tasks of the new Director will comprise conducting the UKE consumer policy in the scope of out-of-court settlement of disputes with service providers, and interventions to protect subscriber interests.
