Consumer survey of children and young people
10 February 2026
The Office of Electronic Communications conducted a consumer survey among children and young people aged 7 to 17. The survey shows how young users use electronic communications services.
When using the internet, young users are exposed to cyberbullying, phishing, contact with age-inappropriate content and many other threats. That is why education on online safety is so important. The survey shows what to look out for and what the needs are in this area.
